The first of a series of short videos from the TERENA Networking Conference (TNC2011) is now available on the 'Daily Impressions' web page: https://tnc2011.terena.org/web/media/video and the ‘Coverage’ web page : https://tnc2011.terena.org/web/media/coverage.

The videos are being created by a team from the Computing and Information Centre of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Their usual mission is to coordinate, integrate and develop the university’s activities in the area of Information and Communication Technology. As well as providing centralised services aimed at developing and operating control components and applications, the team's portfolio includes audio/video and multimedia services. They worked in cooperation with TERENA and CESNET, the Czech research and education networking organisation, to arrange interviews and record footage for the TNC2011 reports.

TNC2011 Theme: "Enabling Communities"

Networks have evolved from a narrow role of moving data between computers to being enablers of our digital lives. Networks enable researchers and students to form global communities, with shared resources and shared goals, liberated from geographical restrictions. TNC2011 will focus on network technologies and the applications that support research and education, examining the areas, ‘future networks’, ‘supporting collaborations and advanced applications’, ‘communities and identities’ and ‘digital lifestyle’.
