Bonny Khunga

Mr Bonny Khunga is the Chief Executive Officer of Zambia Research and Education Network (ZAMREN). He is also the Director of Computer Centre of the Copperbelt University, the second largest public university in Zambia.
Mr Khunga’s career spans over thirty years starting as graduate operations research analyst in the former Zambia’s mining conglomerate, Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines in 1977, where he rose to the position of Head of Information Technology. He joined the Copperbelt University in 2001 as Director of Computer Centrer.
He is active ICT practitioner, Fellow and past Vice President of Computer Society of Zambia, and was a member of the Zambian Government’s appointed Task Force that developed the Zambian National ICT Policy and Strategies launched in 2007..
