Dynamic Network Services Save to my Google calendar

This session addresses new challenges in dynamic networks. Undoubtedly, dynamic network services are in the focus of many research projects, also standardization bodies treat them with a special attention.

The session will start with a report from standardization efforts at OGF on Network Service Interface (NSI). The presentation will explain the rationale for a common application-to-network interface. The next presentation will discuss future challenges in topology exchange for emerging network services, with particular focus on scheduling, heterogeneous information processing and path planning. The last presentation in the session will explain the status of GENUS, the virtualization service for GÉANT and European NRENs.
