VoIP Anomaly Detection Engine

In recent years the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) has gained a lot of attention, due to its benefit compared to traditional PSTN based telecommunication system. VoIP allows users to have mobility in terms of making calls, which is one of the main feature required in our ever fast moving society. As VoIP provides seamless mobility and connectivity to the user, it also makes VoIP susceptible to the remote or local attacks similar to any other system on the connected Internet. VoIP Anomaly Detection Engine (VoIPADE) is an engine, which detects the abnormal behavior in the outgoing call pattern and send an alert upon detection of the same. VoIPADE detects the abnormal calls pattern which can be caused by either high frequency of calls to the expensive destinations or fewer calls with longer duration to the expensive numbers.
