How to Make Paperless Mobility between Higher Education Institutions possible?

We present the Mobility Project which aims at supporting exchange of data on student and staff mobility between higher education institutions (strictly speaking, between their student management information systems). Data is exchanged by invocations of web-services and is structured in a commonly agreed format conforming to known standards. The project is led by RS3G (Rome Student Systems and Standard Group), gathers many national consortia and companies which develop student management information systems for higher education institutions across Europe. RS3G is EUNIS (European University Information Systems) Task Force (since May 2009) and cooperates in the scope of the Mobility Project with TF-EMC2 (TERENA Task Force on European Middleware Coordination and Collaboration).
